Debby Ryan Talks About Jessie and Her Passion for Acting

“Everyone has their own path and we all kind of find them differently…”
– Debby Ryan

I love Debby Ryan’s honesty and reflections on starting her new show “Jessie.” She talks about why she pursued acting and not necessarily fame and why it’s hard to compare performers.

Inspiring ENT: “Not So Average” from V. Rose

‘Not So Average’ from a new young artist V. Rose. talks about how we don’t have to put our worth in what other people say about us. I love the freshness and upbeat-ness of the song and video. V. Who made up the rules of how you got to be
Picture-perfect everything, so magazine
I mean, I’m stuck in a world where I can’t just be me

So what if my nail polish always chips
So what if I prefer to where my kicks
You know, models aren’t really models when they’re not modeling

Why don’t you tell me something
Cuz what I’m really wondering
Is how long do you expect to be following
Trying to be a star like them
It’s not the way you’re gonna win, always trying to fit in… – Lyrics from “Not So Average”

Are You a Changemaker? Teens Make a Difference With Youth Venture

As a teen one of the amazing programs that helped me start my organization for kids was Youth Venture. They supplied me with a grant, and much support to get my art enrichment program off the ground, and they do the same for young people around the country. Check out the videos below of young venturers form Youth Venture’s recent summit.

Youth Venture is an international community of young people who are powerful now, changemakers now. Youth Venture inspires and invests in teams of young people to create and launch their own sustainable, community-benefiting ventures. Youth Venture then connects them into a global movement of young changemakers who are together redefining the youth years as a time of leadership and positive social change. This is the foundation of an Everyone a Changemaker world – the key factor for success in every part of society.
