15-Year-Old Makayla Phillips wows us and the judges with her powerful voice singing Demi Lovato’s song “Warrior” on America’s Got Talent. It’s no wonder she gets the coveted Golden Buzzer. Go ahead Makayla and live your dreams, your talent is beautiful.

I love empowering the next generation and that Disney is doing just that through their new Dream Big Princess video series to inspire young filmmakers. 21 girls and women from 13 countries will produce and direct digital shorts to inspire the next generation and support a $1M donation from Disney to the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up campaign. Won’t You Be My Neighbor? is a movie telling the story of Mr. Rogers who lived as a gift to us all! He inspired children to love, be compassionate and to get through tough times and I think his message is so relevant to today. I’m excited to see the film, are you?
