Letitia Wright Inspires Young People To Pursue STEAM and Engineering With Real-life Heroes from Shell Eco-marathon
Letitia Wright who starred as the engineering and technology mastermind and little sister in Black Panther inspires us to pursue careers in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) through her work with Shell. Check out one of the short films from the series above.

This short film brings together breakout star Letitia Wright – whose recent on-screen characters have inspired a world-wide movement of youngsters gaining interest in STEM, and Anne-Marie Imafidon MBE – social entrepreneur, co-founder of STEMettes, and the youngest ever girl to pass A-level computing at 11 years old. Together, they shine a light on the journeys of four students preparing for this year’s #shellecomarathon.
To champion women’s role in helping to find more and cleaner energy solutions, Shell is teaming up with well-respected female role models and #shellecomarathon students from the UK, to encourage more women to pursue STEM careers and #makethefuture
Shell Eco-marathon is a global competition for students who are passionate about developing innovative mobility solutions. The programme aims to inspire young people to become science and engineering leaders of the future. The challenge for students competing in Shell Eco-marathon is to design, build and drive ultra energy efficient vehicles.
