Zoe’s Dolls: Zoe Overcomes Bullying and Empowers Girls To Love the Skin They’re In
I love what Zoe Terry is doing to help instill confidence and self-love in girls. Her organization Zoe’s dolls gives African American dolls to children who may not have had a doll that looked like them. Zoe realized the importance of representation after she was bullied and she wanted to make sure other girls could stand tall and be proud in their complexion. Zoe has been featured in numerous outlets including Good Morning America and TED Talks.
Brainstorm: What’s a need in the community that you’re passionate about? How can you start your own organization or start collecting items to help others?
