Jamie Grace Describing the Making of the Christmas Together Video

My birthday (November 25th) was spent with some great people to make this crazy, fun, quirky music video for “Christmas Together.” It features my mom, dad, big sis Morgan and her hubs Patrick and includes some more of my family and closest friends. We had SO much fun! This video wouldn’t have been possible without everyone taking their holiday week to hang out and do this!;) Thank you! Also to my aunt who catered the party haha, SESAC who sent me an amazing cake and Cynthia whose birthday was the same day but still came.;) LOVE LOVE!!

Cameo Appearances by Jonah Limbert and Jane King – two of the most remarkable dancers on this planet.

Singer Katelynne Cox On Pursuing A Passion for Music

Above Katelynne Cox’s music video for her song “Me.”

Seventeen-year-old Katelynne Cox faced bullying growing up, and decided to use music as an outlet to express herself and positive messages. She felt like music was the thing she was born to do, and has gone on to release two CDs. In an interview with Susie Magazine she says, “Singing is my passion. Every day, I go home and pick up the guitar and start singing. I enjoy writing songs, too…”

She encourages young people to pursue their own passions and dreams, and not just following what is popular or chase after fame. She says “I have a song called ‘Fifteen Minutes of Fame.’ Lots of people only sing because they want to be famous.” This is awesome advice – take the time to pursue your unique talents and you will be true to you. Inspiring ENT Pick: Are You Happy Now?: Megan and Liz Step Up to Bullying With Music

Bullying is such an important topic, and it breaks my heart to see recent reports of young people who have been hurt and affected by it – words can have a bigger impact than we know. I was also affected by bullying when I was younger and I feel for those who can relate, and appreciate Megan and Liz for their inspiring efforts! Youtube singing sensations Megan and Liz are twin sisters who took their passion for music and decided to share it with the world. The girls began posting Youtube covers a few years ago and began catching the attention of others; they were even surprised on the Oprah Winfrey Show and able to meet one of their inspirations Taylor Swift.

Recently Megan and Liz wrote a song called “Are You Happy Now?” to address the topic of bullying and how words and negative actions affect people so deeply. They got fans to submit photos for the music video and the compilation is really inspiring, watch the official video above and the fan submission video below.
