Amanda Mena Soulfully Sings What About Us on America’s Got Talent
15-year-old Amanda Mena’s story is inspiring! She shares how she overcame bullying when she moved from the Dominican Republic to the U.S. as a child and is channeling her passion into her beautiful gift of music. She began her journey as a Golden Buzzer winner and made it through to the quarterfinals on America’s Got Talent and I love how she represents her culture by singing in Spanish as well.

Inspiring ENT: Not For Sale, White Noise and More From CASS
I first heard CASS’s music this summer when she performed at a summer camp for teens and was drawn to her sound and messages – her music is lit and fills a void in the industry for positive inspiring dance music that has been desperately needed! CASS hails from New Zealand and merges her love for danceable rhythms with lyrics of substance and inspiration to create something vibrant and youthful.
Her song Not For Sale Talks about the journey she has taken from being a college student to stepping out on the dream God gave her of creating music. In just a year she has written and produced music in her bedroom that has topped the charts in her home country and is reaching people’s hearts. Check out this interview CASS did with YMI on how she got started. To find out more about CASS and more of her music follow her on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/casskanda.
Check out CASS’s latest song White Noise below, I love the vibes in this one!

Editor’s Inspiration: Be a Warrior of Love and Live Your Dreams
Let’s all be warriors of Love… We can change the world when we see and encourage one another, from the young to the oldest, to be our fullest selves! Ya see all those people around you each day, even the ones you’ve accidentally overlooked or think you’re different from? Each one of them is a reflection of God’s heart, made to connect with Him in love and the dreams in their hearts are planted there by Him…
When you get free to live in your fullness you get to set other people free to flourish & live in full color too. We become like the beautiful family we were meant to be…
Life’s a journey of growth and evolving – we weren’t made to conform to society’s image of perfection but to be the best we can be in the masterpiece called our bodies and the world God put our spirits in and in whatever our dreams are… So dream high & believe bigger warrior, don’t stop creating & loving. You are loved more than you can imagine and make the world better just by being in it… *In the whisper from A Wrinkle in Time: #BeAWarrior
I made this video inspired by Ava DuVernay’s movie “A Wrinkle in Time” starring Storm Reid. Have you seen it yet? If not be sure to see it online or on DVD!
