4-Year-Old President Austin Feeds the Homeless and Inspires Us to Show Love

I love how this caped 4-year-old who calls himself President Austin cares for the homeless in his town by giving out meals. He tells everyone “Remember to show love,” and it’s such a heartwarming reminder that doing good can change the world one person at a time. Now Burger King and donations are helping him show even more love. Whoever you are take a look at the people around you and how you can help be a light of love.

Inspiring Music Pick: Show Me From Caroline Grace

carolinegraceShow Me is an inspiring song by Caroline Grace about finding her way when it comes to love and life. Caroline Grace says:

“There have been times in my life I’ve found myself getting lost along my own path. ‘Show Me’ is a sort of intro prospective plea to remind myself of who I am and what I stand for,” Caroline states. “The beauty of the song is that it can also apply to various other circumstances. It can be listened to as a love song between two people, a song about loving oneself, or even a worship song. That’s the goal in all of my music – to utilize my own vulnerability to relate to other people in any way that I can and let them know that they aren’t alone.”

ABOUT CAROLINE GRACE:
Caroline is a singer-songwriter with a humble spirit and deep family values. The daughter of legendary Off-Road Racer, Carl Renezeder, is no stranger to the spotlight but is now stepping into her own as she inspires others through her soulful and humble music. While studying English at USC, Caroline found that her passion for music and desire to share her gift with the world were becoming overwhelming and decided to put all of her focus and attention into breaking into the music industry and spreading a positive massage through her beautiful melodies and impactful lyrics. Her sound is wide-ranging from acoustic to trop pop and she remains rooted in her personal values of kindness, love, and helping others wherever she goes. At just 21 years old, Caroline has already worked with some of the biggest names in the industry and is preparing to release her debut EP that she worked on with Jason “Poo Bear” Boyd. Her debut single “Show Me”, a very introspective and powerful acoustic-pop record, is slated to be released this fall.

Cosplay to Inspire

Okay so what I love about working with kids as a teacher and speaker is the excuse to play dress up – I’m no where near a regular but here are a few of my cosplay adventures and the inspiration behind them which are awesome stories that inspire my work:

I love learning & shows that inspire kids to explore creation! Here’s me as Keesha from The #MagicSchoolBus Rides Again on Netflix (anyone else love that show growing up?) We were meant to take time to play and have fun as part of our work (I even did research on the benefits of play in grad school) – whether it’s sports, art or cosplay take time to do something that engages your creativity & brings you joy!?

I went investigating the candy situation at The Potter’s House Harvest Time event (don’t judge me – it was for the whole family??) as The Princess in Black – inspired by both the GOAT MIB Will Smith and kids’ books characters which I love as a teacher & current kids’ writer!
.
(Check out this series The Princess In Black about unconventional mystery solving royalty by Shannon & Dean Hale and the Dream Big! More Than a Princess Coloring Book. Each page of the coloring book features a girl sharing her dream of becoming a professional, like a politician, astronaut or a community organizer. Stephanie Tabashneck, psychologist and author of the book, created it because she was concerned with the lack of role models, characters and positive messages for young girls and in particular young girls of color).
.
If you don’t remember anything else remember to dream big and live boldly because You Are Great! You are royally loved by the King and have the light to fight darkness so go kick some butt. Agent J out?
